Miami Dolphins Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa Showcases Musical Talent with “Tears in Heaven” Performance on Manningcast

The quarterback of the Miami Dolphins, Tua Tagovailoais known for his arm on the gridiron, but on Monday he reminded the world what his fingers can do on the guitar strings.

The 25-year-old quarterback picked up a guitar and played “Tears in Heaven” on an acoustic guitar during Monday’s “Manningcast” broadcast of the Jacksonville Jaguars y Cincinnati Bengals on ESPN.

Manningcast hosts Peyton Manning and Eli Manning provided vocals for the song against Tagovailoa’s guitar strums. However, they changed the song’s lyrics to be about Bengals players jumping offside.

Tagovailoa has previously spoken about his passion for playing instruments in addition to football.

Tagovailoa was seen playing guitar in his hospital bed after undergoing hip surgery in November 2019 while at the University of Alabama. He suffered an injury during Alabama’s 38-7 victory against Mississippi State that required surgery, and played guitar to lift his spirits.
