Las Vegas is not only known for its pompous hotels and casinos. The American city also stands for show fights in sports. In addition to numerous boxing matches, Formula 1 was also recently a guest there.
Now a tennis tournament follows. The streaming platform “Netflix” presents the “Netflix Slam”. The 22-time Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal and current world number two Carlos Alcaraz will meet there.
Other participants are said to be following suit. “I feel honored to share the court in Las Vegas with Rafa,” Alcaraz is quoted as saying by “Netflix.”

Nadal before comeback in January
Nadal wants to make his comeback in Brisbane at the beginning of the year (read here >>>). This should serve as preparation for the Australian Open. The Grand Slam tournament starts on January 14th.
Due to injury, Nadal has not played a game since leaving the Australian Open 2023 in January.
According to the organizer, tickets for the game in the Michelob ULTRA Arena cost upwards of 82 euros. “Netflix” broadcasts the sporting event live.
