Kansas City Chiefs Suffer Second Consecutive Loss, Fall to Buffalo Bills 20-17

The Kansas City Chiefs lost 20-17 to the Buffalo Bills, suffering a second loss in a row, Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs thought they had taken a serious option for victory at the end of the match. Indeed, Patrick Mahomes went to hand the ball to Travis Kelce, who then made a lateral handover to Kadarius Toney, the latter racing towards the end zone to score the touchdown. However, the referees called a penalty since the latter had one foot in the neutral zone when he received Kelce’s pass.

Following this, Mahomes completely lost his composure on the sidelines after this decision by the officials.

It was ultimately a 39-yard field goal from Tyler Bass, at the very end of the match, which allowed the Buffalo club (7-6) to escape Kansas City with the victory.

The start of the game went in favor of Josh Allen and the Bills. The Buffalo quarterback was decisive on his team’s two touchdowns at the start of the game. He first served James Cook on 25 yards in the first quarter, before using his legs at the start of the second quarter to reach the paying zone of the Chiefs (8-5).

The local favorites tried to get back into the match, and it worked. Thanks to Rashee Rice, served for four yards by Patrick Mahomes, and a 27-yard field goal from Harrison Butker, the Chiefs tied their rivals at 17 to 17 on the scoreboard at the start of the fourth quarter.

Kansas City will face the New England Patriots on December 17. The Bills will face the Dallas Cowboys on the same day.

The 49ers continue their momentum

The San Francisco 49ers (10-3) scored a fifth straight win by winning 28-16 against the Seattle Seahawks (6-7).

After a slow first quarter, where the 49ers fell behind 10-7, quarterback Brock Purdy found teammate Deebo Samuel 54 yards to regain a 14-10 lead with 8:26 left in the second quarter. The last city once again reached the paying zone thanks to a one-yard run 2 min 01 s after returning from the locker room.

Purdy repeated for a second touchdown pass with a 44-yard throw to George Kittle.

The 23-year-old athlete finished his evening of work with 19 successful passes on 27 attempts for aerial gains of 368 yards.

DK Metcalfe and Colby Parkinson responded for the Seahawks. Drew Lock, for his part, found his teammates 22 times out of 31 passes attempted.

Three points are enough for the Vikings

We don’t see this very often: the Minnesota Vikings (7-6) only needed three points to win against the Las Vegas Raiders (5-8), who won by a score of 3 to 0.

With two minutes left in the match, kicker Greg Joseph went to kick a field goal to give his team the victory.

The attack was clearly not there in this meeting. Kevin O’Connell also used two quarterbacks during the meeting. Nick Mullens and Joshua Dobbs combined for 146 yards through the air.

Rather remarkably, the Vikings’ last three games ended with a maximum difference of three points. They finished on the wrong side of the score against the Chicago Bears (12 to 10) and the Denver Broncos (21 to 20).

Minnesota will face the Cincinnati Bengals on December 16.
