With an away win, Jürgen Klopp returns to first place in the Premier League with Liverpool FC. This excites the appendix. But a video that the Reds published – and in which the German coach was moved to tears – caused a much greater stir.

In the video you can see Jürgen Klopp welcoming twelve-year-old Liverpool fan Dáire into his office. Klopp drives the young Irishman around the training ground in a wheelchair. Dáire suffers from the rare Crommelin syndrome and lives without arms or legs.

Klopp personally invited Dáire and his family to Liverpool: “All of us, the players and I, have seen the video and we love your passion for the club. Come over.” When Dáire actually traveled from Ireland to Liverpool at the beginning of December, he saw the Reds lose 4-3 to Fulham. A day later he met Reds stars like Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah in person. A visibly moved Klopp drove his little visitor around the training ground.
