On the 27th, the Weihai Station of the Chinese Baseball League officially kicked off, and the Fujian Provincial Baseball Team, formed as a joint team between Fujian and Taiwan, appeared on the field.

In the first game, facing the Tianjin Lions, which had just won fifth place in the national championship, the Fujian team had a bad start and fell behind 0:7 in the first four games. In the subsequent game, the Fujian team, which gradually found the rhythm of the game, scored consecutively, chasing the score to 6:8. In the seventh inning, the Tianjin team stabilized their morale with a home run. The Fujian team eventually lost to the Tianjin Lions 6:11, but it created a history of Fujian and Taiwan players joining hands in a national-level event. In the next game, the Fujian team’s opponent is the Guangdong Cheetahs.

It is reported that the Chinese Baseball League is the top baseball tournament in mainland China. There are four sub-stations and one finals throughout the year. A total of 9 teams including the Fujian team participated.
