It will probably take a few races for motorsport fans’ eyes to adjust. While its cars, whatever the competitions (the WRC since 2017 and the WEC since 2012), sported predominantly white liveries, Toyota is making a 180-degree turn from 2024.
On Tuesday, the Japanese brand presented its Yaris Rally1 Hybrid, which will defend its chances in the World Rally Championship (notably with Sébastien Ogier intermittently), and the GR10 Hybrid, lined up in Endurance. Both now have a matte black base with a silver roof.
The press release accompanying the new liveries specifies that these colors will be those of all the cars entered in competition by Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR), signaling a global evolution of the visual identity of the brand.
