Zlatan Ibrahimovic returns to Milan, to “strengthen the winning culture” of the Rossoneri. The announcement, awaited for weeks, was made by RedBird, the American investment fund that owns the club. Ibra will be an operating partner and “collaborate with the company’s global investment team”.
In Milan, “Ibra will play the role of senior advisor to the owners”, he will work “in close coordination” with the owners and management with an “active role in sporting and commercial operations”, he will, among other things, deal with “player development and training for high performance” and special projects such as the new stadium.
