Hwaseong City’s indoor badminton court, equipped with 20 courts, will temporarily open on the 8th after completing facility maintenance.

The Hwaseong City indoor badminton court is a large-scale sports facility with a total floor area of ​​4,668㎡, 1 underground floor and 2 above-ground floors, located at 221 Sinricheon-ro, Dongtan, and is equipped with convenient facilities such as a 20-sided badminton court, waiting room, locker room, and shower room.

It is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., all days except for Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays and once a month on regular holidays.

Hwaseong City plans to open the facility for free during the temporary operation period and then switch to a paid facility upon its official opening. The official opening date has not yet been set.

Hwaseong Mayor Jeong Myeong-geun said, “Badminton is a representative daily sports sport that anyone, regardless of gender or age, can easily access and participate in. I hope that through the opening of this indoor badminton court, citizens will be able to enjoy badminton in a more pleasant environment and lead a healthy life.”
