Grünwald and Suttner leave the Austria office

Alexander Grünwald and Markus Suttner are quitting their jobs in the Vienna Austria office and devoting themselves to other tasks. As the Bundesliga club announced on Tuesday, ex-midfielder Grünwald is now the sports director of the cooperation club SV Stripfing, which operates in the 2nd league. Suttner, on the other hand, would like to spend more time with his family and complete a master’s degree while on educational leave.

Both worked in marketing and sales at Austria until recently. Grünwald played for the “Veilchen” professionals for eleven years. The 32-year-old won the championship title with the favorites in 2013, as did left-back Suttner, who returned to his parent club in 2020 after stints in Germany and England. In the summer of 2022, the two ended their careers in the Austria dress.
