He Granada-Athletic Club has been permanently suspended after stopping in the 20th minute of the match due to a medical emergency in the stands.
The Basque team’s goalkeeper, Unai Simón, notified the match referee of what was happening, and immediately the match was stopped.
After a few minutes of waiting and uncertainty, both teams headed to the locker room tunnel, following the instructions of the referee team.
At the time of the incident, Ernesto Valverde’s team led 0-1 on the scoreboard, thanks to a goal by Iñaki Williams in the 6th minute.
