Giannis Antetokounmpo Leads Bucks to Victory Over Atlanta Hawks

Atlanta and Clint Capela came up against a fiery Giannis Antetokounmpo on Saturday in the NBA. The Greek star of the Bucks had 32 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists against the Hawks who lost 132-121 in Milwaukee.

Beaten for the third time in its last four outings, Atlanta gave in in the “money time” against the ambitious Bucks. The Hawks, who were only three points behind 3’40” from the buzzer (119-116), then conceded a fatal 13-2 partial.

Giannis Antetokounmpo signed his first triple double in this 2023/24 season on Saturday, the 36th in total in the regular season. The Bucks’ other superstar, Damian Lillard, scored 25 points and 9 assists to allow Milwaukee to pick up its seventh consecutive success at home.

For Atlanta, Trae Young shone with 32 points and 12 assists, but with a meager 13/28 shooting. The Hawks also lacked skill on Saturday with 44.6% success (59.6% for the Bucks). Clint Capela was no exception: the Geneva pivot only made 4 of his 13 shots for a total of 10 points. But he did the job by also managing 17 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks.
