The Patio del Amor initiative continues with fundraising to begin the construction of a recreation area for children admitted to the pediatric area of the Juan Ramón Jiménez Hospital in Huelva. For this to become a reality, the collaboration of numerous donors is necessary, so that in February 2024 it will be possible for works to begin. Throughout the week and the rest of Christmas, the commission that was born in the Brotherhood of the Three Falls of Huelvaworks tirelessly to cover the need for a leisure and disconnection area for children who have been admitted to the center for months.
The solidarity programming is distributed every day of the week in Huelva. This Wednesday, December 13, a charity flamenco gala called Christmas in the Patio of Love at the Grand Theater where the young choir of the Hermandad del Rocío de Huelva, the choir of the subsidiary brotherhood of Montemayor de Huelva, Cantares, Andares and Calle Botica will perform, in an event that will be presented by Manuel Soto and Rosa Rodríguez. All ticket proceeds will benefit this initiative and can be purchased at the Tres Caídas brotherhood house and its bar for 10 euros.
On the other hand, on December 14 it will be presented at the Holea shopping center, the VI Solidarity Badminton Tournament in which the proceeds from the registration will be allocated to the Patio del Amor. In addition, on Friday, December 15, the neighborhood association of Reina Victoria neighborhood will celebrate its great Zambombá Flamenca that will take place in the Plaza de España. This is an initiative in which the students of the Funcadia school will participate., Teresianas and the Peques nursery in the neighborhood during the morning and at noon there will be a free chickpea. In addition, during the afternoon different performances by flamenco groups will begin, including Quitasueño or the Quite dance academy.
To end the week, on Friday, December 15, there will be a second-hand solidarity market that is organized by the AMPA of the El Pinar school in the Fausto Arroyo park in Bellavista, where family members and school children have gone out of their way to donate toys or clothes to raise funds for the Patio del Amor.

About the project
This is an ambitious project promoted by the Patio del Amor Association, belonging to the social work of the Brotherhood of the Three Falls, and which has the support of the City Council and the Provincial Council of Huelva. The aim is to create a place where nature is recreated, Huelva being the protagonist of its design. There will be park attractions in the shape of a boat or a whale, even a movie theater or a space for storytelling and small theatrical performances.
The initiative has a double aspect, a place with garden areas, shade and playground games so that the little ones have the feeling of being in contact with nature and that they also be a place dedicated to learningfor children who receive educational care within the hospital.
