A CV as long as an arm
After more than ten years spent abroad, he returned to the city where he grew up. And he brings a very impressive CV with him.
Following a notable three-season stint (2015-17) with the Purdue Boilermakers, in Division 1 of the NCAA FBS, Anthony Mahoungou tried his luck among the pros. Not selected in the 2018 draft, he was still tested during the pre-season with the Philadelphia Eagles. Unfortunately, he will not be kept in the final squad.
Despite this, he returned to play in Europe and joined the Frankfurt Universe team during the 2019-2020 season, in the German American football league. In 2021, he won the very first season of the ELF within the Frankfurt Galaxy squad. The same year, he quickly moved to the Canadian Football League (CFL), where he played a match for the Ottawa Rouge et Noir.

In 2023, he participates in the 3rd season of the ELF with the Rhein Fire. He demonstrated all his talent at European level with 60 receptions, 984 yards and 11 touchdowns in 10 games.
