Former basketball professional Chance Comanche is said to have kidnapped and strangled a woman with his girlfriend.

Completed in April 2023 Chance Comanche for the Portland Trail Blazers his first NBAgame, but a few months later the 27-year-old made completely different headlines. The basketball player is accused of kidnapping and strangling a sex worker along with his ex-girlfriend. According to released police records, Comanche has already confessed to the murder.

The whole thing is said to have happened at the beginning of December and the victim was 23-year-old Marayna Rodgers. Rodgers is said to have argued with Comanche’s ex-girlfriend Sakari Harnden (19 years old) over a luxury watch. Whereupon Harnden is said to have incited her boyfriend to murder. This is reported by, among others Los Angeles Times. The original plan was to hire a third person to kill Rodgers. When this failed, the duo took action themselves.

Comanche is said to have posed as a potential customer to Rodgers, and the woman was tied up in the car and then strangled. Rodgers had been missing since December 7th, and Harnden was arrested less than a week later. A little later also Comanche. Both are now charged with murder. Comanche was also released last week by his current team, the Stockton Kings in the NBA’s development league.
