Former German goalkeeper Lehmann was sentenced to a fine of more than 10 million crowns

According to BR24, the 54-year-old Lehmann was convicted of various crimes. Lehmann was accused of breaking into his neighbor’s garage with a chainsaw in hand and cutting a piece of a wooden beam. He also drove out of one of the Munich parking garages just behind the bumper of another car to avoid paying the parking fee. The holder of silver and bronze medals from the World Cup and vice-champion of Europe also insulted the policemen who wanted to take away his driver’s license.

During the sentencing, the judge stated that Lehmann constantly casts himself in the role of a victim of justice, but he is not a victim, but a perpetrator. His defense attorney complained that his client’s actions were exaggerated during the trial.
