Ambitious, the latter had thought he would win his world champion title, but unfortunately it was a nasty foot injury that put his dream in the wind. But he was right when he returned to his scientific research. Thus, Tamba has always focused on the usefulness of science and biotechnologies to promote plants used for centuries by healers in Africa, and particularly in Senegal where he comes from.
After carrying out very promising tests on the anti-mosquito repellent properties of one of the wild plants of Casamance, its product is three times more effective than that found on the European market, among others. It has a protection duration of 8h30mn unlike the others which only last three hours.
Today, after attending Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, this young ingenious person is delighted with his trainers who supported him a lot in the development of his product.
After having benefited from marketing authorization in France, Doudou is preparing to present its innovative device at CES Las Vegas. Thus, he calls on the State of Senegal to support his idea which will open the door to the American market, in addition to that of Europe, but also attract investors for Senegal. And why not make its product the world reference against mosquitoes, a major public health issue.
