DOGEWO21, the municipal housing company in Dortmund, shows its commitment to the community and the promotion of youth baseball. The company supports the expansion of the Dortmund Wanderers e.V.’s youth and performance center. V. with a cash donation of €1,000. “This form of social responsibility through supporting local institutions is important to us,” explains Helen Waltener from DOGEWO21.
The Dortmund Wanderers have two youth teams, four men’s teams and a women’s softball team that play their games at the Wanderers Ballpark Hoeschpark. The youth and performance center based in Dorstfeld is currently being expanded to include a new U12 field for the youth team. With the expansion, the club is creating a top training and playing environment for young players and promoting young baseball players in the region.
