Roger Federer’s property in Kempraten has been under construction for four years. The finishing touches were supposed to be completed this winter, but two objections prevented construction from being completed.
As the “Zürichsee-Zeitung” writes, it is said to be a private individual and the Rives Publiques association. In the latter case, the newspaper asks itself: Does Rives Publiques have the right to lodge a complaint?
Applicable criteria
The Federal Office for the Environment lists the criteria for the prerequisite for the association’s right to complain: It must be an ideal nature and heritage protection organization that operates throughout Switzerland and has existed for over ten years.
The club’s president, Victor von Wartburg, is confident that these criteria apply to Rives Publiques, as the “Zürichsee-Zeitung” continues.
Change of plan
In October, Rives Publiques’ demands fluttered to Federer’s. “We have submitted a detailed response to the client’s representative’s statement,” says von Wartburg.
This winter, the boathouse was the last planned structure to be built on Federere’s property, as the normally lower water level makes it easier to build near the shore. Although it is unclear what will happen next, this structure will probably overwinter the season.
