The Coria City Council, through the Department of Sports, has prepared different activities for the Christmas holidays. The sports program, which was inaugurated with the provincial badminton final, includes sports events with a solidarity purpose such as the one that will be held on Saturday with the X Convivencia de Fútbol-7 for the collection of food that will go to local Cáritas and which the entity will then distribute among families without resources. This event will be at the César Sánchez municipal field and will begin at ten in the morning. At the entrance, essential food products will be provided. Cáritas Interparroquial, the Association of Caurienses Referees, the Caurienses Veterans Association, the Civil Guard, CD Coria, Cauria CF, Peña Atlético de Madrid, the Defense Board, Juventud Cauriense, the Peña El 27 and Axpay collaborate in this initiative.
That same day, a rhythmic gymnastics exhibition, organized by the Extreme and Hard Rhythmic Gymnastics Association, will take place in the sports hall starting at 10:00 a.m.
The Christmas program will also feature a Training Campus for soccer players and goalkeepers from the 26th to the 29th at the municipal field organized by CD Coria. In addition, another Christmas Camp organized by the Chema Martín Football School will be held from December 26 to 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the municipal sports pavilion for the categories from pre-benjamín to infantile. On the other hand, on December 28, a traditional games workshop will be held, organized by the Department of Sports, in the municipal pavilion starting at 12 noon. Activities will continue until the month of January, inclusive.
