Irankunda is a “huge talent, a mega-talent”, but everything was happening too quickly, added professional O’Donovan. Irankunda will move from Adelaide to Munich on July 1, 2024. The then 18-year-old signed a long-term contract with the German record champions.

Irankunda is said to have been the focus of other European clubs. He is currently an Australian U17 international, but has already been called up to the senior national team.
