Champions League: 3,800 PSG supporters expected in Dortmund

PSG supporters complete their European triptych this Wednesday evening (9 p.m.) with a new major trip. After discovering the exciting St James’Park in Newcastle and the legendary San Siro in Milan, Parisian fans will once again be amazed – and ears – during the third and final Champions League group match played away by the capital club at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, also renowned for its very warm atmosphere.

They will have to make their voices heard to try to compete with the famous “Yellow Wall”, the largest stand on the continent (24,500 people). But this is good since, according to our information, there will be around 3,800 PSG supporters filling the visitor’s parking lot located on the bend, between the East stand and the North stand, of the BVB enclosure. It is mainly Parc des Princes subscribers, ultras and members of the club’s fan clubs who will make the trip to Germany.

Second largest contingent of the season

The majority of them will reach the Ruhr by train, while the more daring will take the car or bus from the capital. Depending on the seats on sale by the PSG ticket office, fans will be spread over two levels (standing place in the lower stand, seated place in the upper stand). They will be able to collect their place from this Tuesday at the “German Football Museum” located opposite Dortmund central station.

This is the second largest contingent of supporters of the season: there were 2,100 who attended the defeat at Newcastle and 4,300 at Milan. This time, the Parisian faithful hope to see a completely different scenario to continue traveling across Europe next February for a possible round of 16 of the Champions League.
