Celtics Defeat Knicks: Porzingis Returns Strong, Bertans Leads Thunder to Victory Over Warriors

“Celtics” defeated New York “Knicks” basketball players at home with the result 133:123 (33:32, 41:33, 35:30, 24:28).

In 29 minutes and 19 seconds spent on the field, Porzingis made three of six long-range shots, four of seven two-point shots and all four free throws. He also had three rebounds, one assist, two steals, two turnovers and two sacks, along with a +/- of +17.

Porzingis had not played since November 24, when he injured the calf muscle of his left leg in a game with the Orlando Magic. Without Porzingis, the team played four matches, winning three.

Derrick White was the top scorer for the Celtics with 30 points, while Jason Tatum added 25 points, six rebounds and five assists.

Rowen Berrett and Jalen Branson scored 23 points for the “Knicks” team.

The hosts were in the lead for most of the game, including the entire second half, achieving the biggest advantage in the 33rd minute (101:81).

The “Celtics” are in first place in the Eastern Conference with 16 wins in 21 games, while the “Knicks” are seventh with 12 wins.

The Celtics will play their next game on Monday at home against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

“Thunder” represented by Bertan defeated Golden State “Warriors” basketball players at home in overtime with the result 138:136 (19:28, 37:34, 33:22, 29:34, 20:18).

Bertans spent 12 seconds on the field, during which time he reached a +/- indicator of +2.

Shay Gilges-Alexander was the top scorer for Thunder with 38 points, who also had five rebounds, assists and steals, while Jalen Williams added 28 points.

Stephen Curry scored 34 points for the “Warriors” team, while Johnatan Kuminga and Dario Saric, who scored 24 and 11 points, respectively, grabbed 12 rebounds. Draymond Green added 12 points and 13 assists.

The guests were more in the lead in the game, Klay Thompson made a long shot in the 19th minute to take the biggest advantage of the game 48:34, but Chet Holmgren made three free throws eight seconds before the end of the regular time, reaching overtime. The home team took the lead from the start, securing the victory.

“Thunder” ranks second in the Western Conference with 14 wins in 21 games.

The next game “Thunder” will play on Monday at home against Utah “Jazz”.
