Bosowa’s New Stadium: More Than Just a Home Base for PSM Makassar

TRIBUN-TIMUR.COM – The new stadium that Bosowa will build is not only intended for PSM Makassar but has other benefits.

This was explained by Bosowa Commissioner Erwin Aksa regarding plans to build a stadium which will later be used by PSM Makassar as a home base.

The Bosowa Stadium will stand on an area of 12 hectares located on the banks of the Tallo river, Buloa Village, Tallo District, Makassar.

Currently, Bosowa’s 3 hectares of land at this location has been used for the Bosowa Sport Center (BSC) area.

The rest, Bosowa, has written for cooperation in using land belonging to Unhas which is also located in the area.

Furthermore, the concept of the Bosowa stadium will be like the stadium in Doha.

The following is Erwin Aksa’s complete explanation to East TribuneThursday (7/12/2023):

Bosowa Corporation is very serious about building a stadium in the Tallo River area,
Open, Makassar.

This effort is part of Bosowa’s efforts to take a role in involving the private sector in developing cities and regions.

The stadium is not only for PSM, but also has a socio-cultural function.

Music concerts, tabligh akbar, events with masses of up to 20 to 25 thousand, these don’t exist yet in Makassar.

Imagine if Iwan Fals, Slank or Dewa 19 held a big concert in Makassar, we would cover the stadium grass with thermal plastic, so the grass wouldn’t be damaged.

The stadium was not designed to be the main stadium like the capacity of GBK (Gelora Bung Karno) with 70 thousand seats.

We also don’t want to build JIS (Jakarta International Stadium) with 80 thousand seats, as proposed by Governor Anies in North Jakarta.
