The interest for Paris Basketball in this merger project is twofold. The club wants to set up a quality training center. Conversely, the Mets U18 and U21 have benefited from excellent facilities in Boulogne-Billancourt since 2020, even if no venue in the city has a parquet floor. Furthermore, the municipality would be ready to continue to grant a subsidy of more than 2 million euros to Paris Basketball. Does this news benefit competitors for maintaining Betclic ELITE? Not really if the Metropolitans 92 remain last in the championship.
