After less than four months, Besiktas and Eric Bailly are going their separate ways again.
As the Süper Lig club announced on Friday, the player and club agreed to terminate the contract.
The 29-year-old only played eight competitive games for Besiktas. After a 3-1 derby defeat against Fenerbahce, the Ivorian and four other teammates were recently left out of the squad.
As Fabrizio Romano reports, Bailly is now expected to stay with Villarreal in Spain. The defender played there from the beginning of 2015 until the summer of 2016, when he moved to Manchester United.
