Last night the Baseball Softball Club Rovigo, branded Itas Mutua, last night proposed the “Baseball Night”, the sports marketing event that the rossoblù club has been offering to the city for years now to celebrate the sporting results achieved on the diamond and to offer a moment of entertainment and entertainment. This time it did it a few days before Christmas, in a “winter edition” hosted in the conference room of the Episcopal Seminary of Rovigo and organized with the support of the Veneto Region. At 6.30pm the curtain rose on the long parade of the teams, authorities and partners of the Rovigo club. The great star of the evening was the comedian and actor Gianni Cinelli, known to the general public for his participation in Zelig. His jokes and sketches dictated the pace of the parade of male and female athletes on stage: starting from the little ones of minibaseball, up to the two senior teams of Serie A baseball and Serie A2 softball, flagships of a rossoblù movement which nevertheless continues to have its beating heart in the thick youth team. There was no shortage of applause for the many athletes called up during the year in the various national selections, as well as for the large group of baseball for the blind. During the evening, the short film “Le luci del diamante” created by Nicolò Falghera and produced by the Baseball Softball Club Rovigo, dedicated specifically to baseball for the blind and already available on social media, was screened as a preview. All the authorities took turns on stage to reward the teams. Together with them also the representatives of the partners of the Baseball Softball Club Rovigo: Itas Mutua, Adriatic LNG, Banca Veneto Centrale, Avis and Fineco.
