“Today athletics is faced with a great opportunity. Its results are extraordinary both at youth and international level, a spark is being ignited that leads kids to run and back on the track.” Diego Nepi Molineris, CEO of Sport and Health, said this during the Ussi conference “Athletics and those who tell it – Places, stories and changes for the queen of sport” underway at the CONI Hall of Honour. “As Sports and Health we are involved in plant engineering, even on the outskirts. But we have a vision: to update sports and therefore also athletics facilities and the zero project will be right here – added Nepi – The future of sports facilities ‘athletics will be a fusion between sport for all and beauty and will be the Stadio dei Marmi which is being renovated, including its statues. The first ten have already been discovered and in their being they symbolize the “becoming” which reflects the idea that we followed for the updating of the stadium”.
