2024 Paralympic Games: Yannick Noah named captain of the French wheelchair tennis team

It’s not just the Olympic Games that matter in life. During a press conference organized this Thursday at Roland-Garros, the president of the French Tennis Federation (FFT) Gilles Moretton announced that Yannick Noah would be the captain of the French men’s wheelchair tennis team. for the Paris Paralympic Games in 2024.

“Yannick Noah will be captain of the French men’s team for the Paralympic Games. He will come and train our teams. Yannick will take on this challenge because he is a man of challenge, he has demonstrated it, he is a leader of men,” declared Gilles Moretton.

Already present with the Paralympic tennis athletes during their training, the Frenchman will officially get involved in the Games which will take place from August 8 to September 8 in the capital. He remains the last French athlete to this day to have won Roland-Garros in 1983.
