XV of France: the Blues face the All Blacks in November 2024 and the Springboks in November 2025

The schedule of the XV of France for the next two autumns is known. And the Blues will meet during these international windows the two finalists of the 2023 World Cup played in France this fall (September 8 – October 28): New Zealand and South Africa. As revealed by Olympic Middayand confirms Le Parisien-Aujourd’hui in France, the tricolors will face the All Blacks and the Springboks respectively in November 2024 and November 2025.

The New Zealanders, whom Fabien Galthié’s men dominated during the opening match of the World Cup (27-13) at the Stade de France, will challenge the XV of France on home soil on November 16, 2024. The All Blacks will constitute the major attraction of a series of home test matches launched against Japan on November 9 and completed against the Argentines, semi-finalists of the World Cup, on November 23.

A year later, the Blues will meet the reigning double world champions, the Springboks, and executioners of the quarter-final (28-29) on October 15. A shock to launch a trio of matches where Fiji, quarter-finalists of the 2023 World Cup, and the Australians are also on the program.

Note that the test matches in autumn 2026 will be replaced by the matches of the first edition of the Nations Cup. The French XV will welcome three non-European selections from New Zealand, South Africa, Australia, Argentina, Fiji and Japan after having faced three others during the summer.
