WINTER WORLD MASTERS GAMES LOMBARDIA 2024

There is little time left for the Winter World Masters Games Lombardia 2024, the most important international winter sports event reserved for ‘Over 30’ athletes, which will be held from 11 to 21 January 2024. This multi-sport initiative with an international scope will have as its naturalistic setting the Stelvio Park involving the provinces of Sondrio, Brescia and Trento.

Among the various disciplines proposed we have decided to focus our attention on skialp e snow run which are the ones most in target with our readers. In a period, the beginning of the year, where it is always difficult to find competitions to test your legs and condition in view of the big mid-season events, here are some nice proposals not only for sports. The organizational machine has in fact foreseen various collateral events to make the post-race event certainly appealing. The period affected is from 12 to 16 January. The locations? the Ponte di Legno Tonale and Aprica areas; that is to say where Adamello Ski Raid and Stralunata are offered: names that are a guarantee of quality.

DATES TO BE NOTED:

We will start on Friday 12th with the vertical a Wooden bridge. On the 14th, again in the well-known Camunian location, it will be the turn of the individual race. Tuesday 16th, grand finale with heated fronts in Aprica on the track Super overview of Baradello for the night test on the longest illuminated track in Europe.

FOR THOSE WHO DON’T SKI, BUT LOVE TO RUN:

Crampons on the feet and double knot on the shoes. The 7km classic test is scheduled for Saturday 13th, while the vertical race will take place on Monday 15th, again in Ponte di Legno.
