The title of winner in the individual category fell once again to Víctor Ortega after several editions with the triumph of younger players. In the rest of the podium boxes, Javier Barrios and José Carlos Pérez entered in second and third position respectively. Javier Barrios and José Carlos Pérez made use of their victories in the first two days to secure first position, for the first time both signing as a pair.
The couples formed by Alfonso Peñaranda with Oscar Izquierdo and Gustavo Barrera with Diego Martin accompanied them on the podium.
The veteran couple formed by Manuel Acero and Santiago Martínez won on the final day, beating the brothers Ana and Jorge Peñaranda in the final.
In addition to the absolute category, smaller Lis grouped in the under-17 category gathered. Sunday’s final was starred by two women, Isabel Corchón and Jimena Ayllón. The second position obtained by Jimena raised her to first overall position, with her being accompanied by Daniel Marín as runner-up with Iker González in third position.
The general classification of the circuit, in the sub-17 doubles modality, coincided with the results of this third test, with María González being proclaimed champions with Daniel Marín, second classified were Jimena Ayllón and Iker González with Naroa Álvaro and Isabel Corchón in third position.
The organization was carried out by the Provincial Badminton Delegation, whose president, Manuel Acero, presented the trophies to the first three finishers in the middle of the afternoon on Sunday.
