Tyrese Haliburton Leads the Spectacular Indiana Pacers to Scoring Dominance in the NBA

Watching the current Pacers play is a real spectacle. With Tyrese Haliburton at the controls, Indiana has become by far the team that scores the most in the NBA with 126 points per night, something they have achieved through a fast game that in turn is leading them to add victories; so much so that they occupy third place in the Eastern Conference at 6-4.

Indiana looks very good. With Haliburton on his way to even being in the discussion for the MVP – averaging 23.8 points, 12.2 assists and 3.9 rebounds demands it – other players like Bennedict Mathurin or Bruce Brown himself point to a promising present and future. That’s how they feel in Indianapolis, but that doesn’t mean they have any intention of settling, and their franchise player is already talking about how important he can be in attracting other players to the team.

«I play a style of basketball that people want to play. I think that’s part of the reason they signed me to that deal (five years for the maximum). “I bring long-term stability because they know I can help bring people here, not only with who I am as a basketball player, but also with who I am as a person,” he tells Rob Mahoney of The Ringer.

Not knowing to what extent he has friendship or influence on other players, the reality is that his basketball is undoubtedly attractive. When the Pacers signed him to a five-year contract that could reach $260 million, it’s obvious they knew what they were doing. With Haliburton at the helm, it will be much easier to have a winning team today (and tomorrow).
