If you want to trick, you need secrets – everyone saw Nagelsmann’s instructions to Trapp. But at least: The national coach is still understood by his players.

Since this week it has been suggested that the players of the German national soccer team do not understand Julian Nagelsmann’s instructions. But if you look at the replay of what suddenly happened in the 51st minute of the game in Vienna on Tuesday, you have to contradict this theory. Because goalkeeper Kevin Trapp knew exactly what his coach wanted.

But it was also understandable to all football fans who saw the slowed down images what the national coach was demanding. At first he frantically rocked his right arm up and down. Then Nagelsmann grabbed his right back thigh with his right hand. And Trapp, who had already put the ball down and wanted to continue playing? He just fell over – and grabbed the back of his thigh.
