The Senigallia Girls Fall Short in Basketball Match Against Terni

1′ reading Senigallia 05/11/2023 – Basketball, although full of patterns, is a very easy game: you have to put the ball in segments inside the basket. On Saturday evening the Senigallia girls did it only in the first twenty minutes. Coming out of the long break it looked like they had forgotten how to play basketball.

The game didn’t start well, Terni immediately went ahead finding easy shots many times but coach Pepa’s girls managed to come back enough to end the second quarter even ahead by three points, 37 to 34. It seemed that the game had come together on the right track, however in the third quarter they scored only four points and six in the last quarter. The match therefore ended with a score of 57 to 47 for Terni.

Coach Pepa’s words at the end of the match “The team never gave up and played good basketball for 25 minutes, then the lack of baskets prevented us from bringing home the result”
Next match in Perugia on Sunday 12 November at 8pm.
