The prosecutor’s heavy charges against the young people arrested before the Supreme Court

Arrested before the Supreme Court last Friday, 7 young people were brought before the prosecutor.

During the hearing on Friday, November 17 at the Supreme Court, seven young people were arrested by the police. And as is often the case recently, those in power have used bad words to describe the charges brought against these young people who are, in fact, being prosecuted for “criminal association linked to a terrorist enterprise, conspiracy against State authority, acts and maneuvers likely to compromise public security and cause serious political unrest.”

They are Collin Emily Lilas FAYE (26 years old) born in Echirolles in France, physiotherapist living in Fass Delorme; El Hadj Lamine BARRO (30 years old), infographic designer born in Diofior living in Pikine; Mala MANE (45 years old), born in Kigning (Sédhiou), building painter living in Khar Yalla; Benoît SAMBOU (29 years old) born in Djifanghor, senior building technician, domiciled in Cité Damel; Malang BADJI (23 years old) born in Bémé Diattacounda; Ibrahima MANGA (47 years old) born in Afignam (Bignona), painter living in Tivaouane Peulh; Ousmane TAMBA (23 years old), born Boughanré (Sédhiou), tiler living in Fass Delorme.

The first named, Colline Emily Lilas FAYE, is also accused of being a spy, because she is of French nationality, according to Me Koureyssi BA. As a protest, she decided to go on a hunger strike.
