With a 3/12 shooting in a defeat of more than 40 points against the Pacers (152-111), Victor Wembanyama clearly did not shine last night. Author of 13 points and 10 rebounds, the French giant was not as dominant as he could have been in recent days. But it is perhaps also linked to the fact that he was rarely sought out by his teammates, as an American Internet user noted during the meeting:

In theory, Victor Wembanyama is supposed to be the anchor of the Spurs team. Gregg Popovich doesn’t want to put too much pressure on the Frenchman and that’s to his credit, but it seems strange that he touches the ball so rarely. Even being mediocre like against the Pacers, the Texans should bet more on him.
