The guard, who fell to the ground in pain in the aforementioned game and had to be helped off the field, will miss at least the next two games, as announced by the North Carolina franchise.

After being absent from Sunday’s game against the Dalla Mavericks, he will also not be available to host the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, nor to play against the Washington Wizards on Friday in an NBA Cup game. His return could occur on Sunday against the New York Knicks.

At 29 years old, Rozier is a key piece in the Hornets’ scheme; so much so that he is averaging 22 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds in 35.8 minutes per night in the current 2023-24 season.
