Ten judokas from the Sakura Club of Baie-Saint-Paul participated in the Quebec Open on November 11 and 12 in Montreal. Mégan Simard left with a gold medal and Juliette Pérusse with a bronze medal.
Mégan Simard won gold among the U14s, in the – 57 kg category. Rose Pérusse finished 5th in the – 48 kg category.
In the U16 Girls, in the – 63 kg, Juliette Pérusse deserves bronze and Mély-Ann Lavoie finishes in 5th place. In the – 48 kg category, Rose Sullivan finished in 7th place.
Loick Tremblay, Alexis Lavoie, Charles and Tristan Pérusse competed in the U16 Boys and Olivier Fortin in the U-21.
The next development competition will take place on December 2 and 3 in Repentigny.
