Prestigious result for the Under 15 team of the Cairese Baseball Club. The red and white bats in fact achieved an excellent second place at the Cavigal Cup, an international tournament held in Nice (France) under the aegis of the local Cavigal Baseball Softball team, one of the most important in the Transalpine region.
Cairese, the only Italian team, faced the hosts and the other French teams of Marseille Meds Baseball Softball and Les Renards de la Vallèe in a quadrangular match.
With two victories and a draw, Cairese failed to win the trophy solely due to the points difference, which rewarded the hosts Cavigal, but the satisfaction remains for the excellent team performance and three individual prizes, conquered by Annalisa Bogliolo, Victor Flores and Vijay Palazzi.
