Success at the Melilla Federation of Judo and Associated Sports Exams and Guadalajara Senior Southern Sector Championship

The Melilla Federation of Judo and Associated Sports held, last Saturday, the exams from black belt to fifth Dan. The day began punctually, at 10:30 a.m., at the Guillermo García Pezzi Sports Pavilion, after delivery of the pertinent documentation. Candidates up to the third Dan were presented, all of them managing to pass the exam. The court was made up of three national teachers, sixth Dan: Felipe Óscar Uriel López, Francisco de Asís Manuel Romero de Ávila y Ábalos, and Antonio Lomeña Colomera.

The federal entity highlights that “good candidates” were presented and there was no room for doubt “to issue the evaluation by the court.” The court was made up of three national teachers, sixth Dane, white-red belts. Guadalajara Senior Southern Sector Championship

On the other hand, the Melilla Judo Federation is pleased with the successes obtained by Rubén Mendoza Marín and Jordi Maya, representing Melilla, in the Southern Sector Senior Judo Championship of Guadalajara. Rubén Mendoza (white judogui) participated in the – category 90 kilograms and was classified in third place, while Jordi Maya (blue judogi) competed in +100 kilograms and was classified in fifth position. Both are fourth Dan black belts.
