A new study conducted at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York has discovered 8 daily behaviors that make you 6 years younger. A list of 8 essentials for life created by the American Heart Association that not only improve cardiovascular health, which was the primary goal of US doctors, but can also slow the aging process.

The survey was conducted by the epidemiologist Nour Makarem on over 6500 patients evaluating the level of adherence to the 8 precepts of rejuvenation and calculating their biological age measuring levels of substances in the body involved in metabolism, inflammation and organ function.

Those who declared that they faithfully followed the 8 habits to rejuvenate had one true age of the organism on average 6 years lower than the actual age. However, those who did not follow the 8 habits to rejuvenate had an average biological age of 4 years greater than their chronological age.
