Prince William and Princess Catherine Enjoy Outdoor Activities in Scotland

Prince William and Princess Catherine, Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, are currently in Scotland where they are carrying out a series of engagements. This Thursday, November 2, 2023, the heir to the throne and his wife met young people who are enjoying outdoor activities organized by Outfit Moray. The Princess of Wales got on her mountain bike to let off steam with the young Scots.

Prince William and Princess Catherine enjoy outdoor activities in Scotland

The Duke and Duchess of Rothesay held a joint engagement this Thursday, November 2, at Burghead, in the north of the Lieutenancy region of Moray, east of Scotland. The visit once again focused on learning about the means available to young people to improve their mental health. The Outfit Moray association, which offers sports and outdoor activities, offers young people in Scotland a way to let off steam and therefore improve their mental health.

For this windy and rainy autumn outing, the Princess of Wales wore a khaki quilted jacket from Burberry and ankle boots from the Reiss brand. The Prince of Wales matched his wife with his blue chinos and khaki oilcloth jacket. Outfit Moray provides activities for young people aged 8 to 18 and has worked with over 16,000 young people since its inception in 2003.

Duke and Duchess of Rothesay pay autumn visit to young people in Scotland

The goal of the organization is to “making a difference in the lives of others, by actively developing the potential of young people, their families and communities, through accessible and affordable outdoor learning and adventure.” Outdoor sports often include mountain biking, climbing, kayaking, hiking, archery and rafting.

Following this activity, the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay visited a family farm in Forres, where they will learn about efforts to support young people with mental health. Lower Speyside Young Farmers provides opportunities for socialization and interaction for young people from all backgrounds.
