After opening the score, Paris Saint-Germain was overthrown by AC Milan (1-2) at San Siro thanks to a decisive goal from Blues striker Olivier Giroud on Tuesday, November 7, during the 4th day of the Champions League group stage.

On the Milanese pitch at San Siro, on November 7, there was a little air of the French team. Seven Blues actually started the match among the 22 players in the match between AC Milan (Mike Maignan, Théo Hernandez and Olivier Giroud) and Paris-SG (Lucas Hernandez, Ousmane Dembélé, Randal Kolo Muani and Kylian Mbappé). At a sustained pace and in a configuration where both teams seemed driven by the desire to score the second goal, the match was rich in opportunities on both sides, such as this strike on the crossbar by Dembélé or this shot in a closed corner from Giroud.
But it was only a postponement for the “old” French striker, 37 years old, but still aerial with his 193 cm which allowed him to head a cross from Théo Hernandez and crucify the Parisians (50th). Now ahead in the score, the Milanese were content to defend their advantage, isolating Mbappé and marking two, even three, on the most dangerous element of PSG. And the entries of Gonçalo Ramos, Bradley Barcola or Kang-in Lee changed nothing.
This is the second defeat in four days for PSG, who remain second in the group with one point ahead of AC Milan and two over Newcastle, which they host on the next day. Dortmund is now leader of this group F after its victory against the Magpies (2-0).
