Noah Ohio is currently experiencing a critical moment in his career. Quite the opposite of his friend Jude Bellingham, who is having a blast at Real Madrid.
Despite his goal in the Belgian Cup, Noah Ohio is having a nightmare season at Standard. Against Mechelen, he was not on the bench, and has not started a Pro League match since August 4.
But lately, he’s at least been able to vicariously enjoy Jude Bellingham’s performances. The two boys from the 2003 generation have known each other since the 2018/2019 season, when they were teammates in the English U16s, Ohio now playing for the Dutch hopefuls.
Bellingham and Ohio, a friendship that endures
They notably went on vacation together this summer and are constantly checking in on each other. ESPN will therefore release a documentary on Jude Bellingham’s evening at the Ballon d’Or last week, including the point of view of Ohio, who called him several times last Monday.
Bellingham won the Raymond Kopa trophy for the best youngster and was ranked 18th in the Ballon d’Or rankings.
