more than 400,000 new tickets put on sale at the end of November

More than 400,000 new tickets for the Paris Olympic Games in 2024 (July 26-August 11) will go on sale from November 30, while 7.2 million tickets have already been sold, according to announced Wednesday, November 22, the organizers.

“This is undoubtedly one of the last opportunities to buy tickets for the Olympics. These tickets are becoming more and more rare”, indicated Paris-2024. The sale of these tickets, some of which had been put aside for commercial reasons and others pending clarification on the configuration of the sites, will begin on November 30 at 10 a.m. on the site tickets.paris2024.org.

Nearly 70,000 tickets at €24

Launched a few days before the end-of-year holidays, it will concern all sports and sessions, including sports announced as closed, such as swimming. Nearly 6,000 tickets will therefore be offered for swimming at La Défense Arena, 24,000 for tennis at Roland-Garros, 14,000 for horse riding at the Château de Versailles or even 25,000 for beach volleyball at the Eiffel Tower and 30,000 for athletics at the Stade de France, detailed the organizers.

Among these tickets on sale, nearly 70,000 will be offered at a minimum price of €24. To buy these almost last tickets, there will be no draw, the rule will be first come, first served. Other tickets will go on sale in the coming months, but less massively.

There will also be the possibility of purchasing tickets on the resale platform which will open in spring 2024. So far, nearly 7.2 million tickets have been sold out of a total hoped by the organizers of 10 million.
