Since 1996, five Major League Baseball (MLB) regular season series have been played in Mexico, the first games were played by the San Diego Padres against the New York Mets in Monterrey.
This year the match was between the San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres at the Alfredo Harp Helú Stadium and through a statement, it was announced that the MLB World Tour will reach 4 countries in 2024, including Mexico.
Since 2019, the Houston Astros and the Colorado Rockies had not set foot on Mexican soil, but next April they will face each other in a regular season series in Mexico City.

The games will be on April 27 and 28 between the Astros and the Rockies, the confrontation, like this year, will be at the Alfredo Harp Helú Stadium, the official home of the Red Devils of Mexico, which has a capacity for 20,062 people.
