It was predictable for several weeks and it’s finally official, Michenaider Chery is a player for Oakland Roots SC, a USL Championship club in the USA.
Slender attacker, not too physical but dedicated in front of the opposing camp and hard worker, these are among other qualities that we find in Michenaider, native of Les Cayes, trained at Chewifoot and passed through Aigle Noir AC.
This Friday, the Oakland Roots SC announced his signing for the 2024 season after being in training with this club for several weeks. This club is based in California, founded in 2018 and which has played the USL Championship since 2021.
Michenaider, “Teknik” for short, had been without a club since after the CONCACAF Champions League, a competition where he shone with Violette AC, notably scoring two goals against FC Austin last March. After months of hard work, he will find the smile again to play football properly with his new club. We hope he will score a lot of goals next year.
