With an offensive of 18 hits, the Navegantes del Magallanes defeated the Tiburones de La Guaira 12-7 at the Universitario Stadium.
A six-run rally in the third inning turned the game around and put the filibusters on track for victory. Magallanes extended the lead an inning later with a man-on-base home run by René Pinto.
Pinto went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored, Angelo Castellano went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBIs and one run scored, while he went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBIs and one run scored.

The 18 hits connected by the Magellan offensive are the top this season for the Turks, surpassing the 17 they connected on November 7 against Tigres.

Eduard Bazardo (1-0) was the winning pitcher, pitching an inning in which he allowed two hits and two runs. The defeat went to Ricardo Pinto (0-1) after pitching two innings and allowing six runs.
With this result, Magallanes and Tiburones remain with the same record (14-15), the Litoralenses see the end of a streak of four victories.
