LeBron James’ Home Court will be a museum dedicated to the NBA star’s beginnings in basketball.

AKRON, Ohio — The path of LeBron James from basketball promise to scoring champion of the NBA remember where it started.

LeBron James’ Home Courta museum dedicated to the Lakers star and his many milestones, will open in Akron on November 25.

It will be a multimedia experience; The museum will include a recreation of the apartment where he and his mother Gloria lived along with artifacts from his childhood, his high school playing career and his championships with Cleveland, Miami y Los Angeles Lakers.

The museum is located in House Three Thirty, a facility the James Foundation started to serve the community where LeBron grew up.

“My dream has always been to put Akron on the map, so having a place in my hometown that allows me to share my journey with my fans around the world means a lot to me,” James said. “I’ve been known to hold on to a lot of things over the years, and I always knew there would be a time and place to bring them to light.”

Among the items on display will be the all-white suit James wore to the 2003 NBA Draft, his McDonald’s All-American game jersey and an original St. Vincent-St. backboard and hoop. Mary High School, where James first caught the attention of basketball fans when he was just a teenager.

James, a four-time NBA champion who turns 39 next month, is in his 21st professional season. Last year he surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the league’s all-time leading scorer.
