Laura Gil reached her 150th international cap this Sunday in Tenerife against Austria with the Absolute Women’s National Team shirt. An important milestone in a career in which the Murcian player also presents an impressive record of 8 medals from gold in her debut in 2013 to silver this past summer.

The Spain-Austria match this past Sunday in Tenerife, corresponding to the first Window of the qualifying phase for Eurobasket 2025, was special for Laura Gil: it marked her 150th absolute cap.
Since her debut as an absolute international in the summer of 2013, which the National Team signed with the unforgettable gold medal at the farewell of Amaya Valdemoro and Elisa Aguilar, Laura has been present in all the team’s championships and preparation tours except those of the after 2022, due to an injury that kept him out for several months.
